The LSO (Legislative Services Office) estimates that The cost of a 5 day special session would be $185,000. This comes to 37 cents per Wyoming citizen.
Some legislators and the Governor are misleading the public stating on news broadcasts and in correspondence to constituents that a special session would cost up to $5 million.
Why such leaders choose to mislead the public is a legitimate question. Each citizen will come to their own conclusions on this matter.
